Flanges and centering cones for wheel balancers
( number of products: 19 )Balancing cones - for accurate wheel centering
How do centering cones for wheel balancers work? These components are used to center wheels with a central bore precisely on the machine’s shaft.
Proper centering eliminates measurement errors caused by wheel misalignment, ensuring accurate imbalance readings and optimal balancing results.
All REDATS balancing cones are manufactured from high-grade materials—chrome or hardened steel-for high durability and corrosion resistance.
Steel cones are additionally black oxidized to further protect against rust and wear.
Types of balancing cones available
This category includes cones suitable for virtually all vehicle types commonly serviced in a tire shop or car service.
Whether for passenger cars, SUVs, or vans—you’ll find the right option here.
Available centering cone sizes include:
- 45–64 mm
- 54–81 mm
- 70–103 mm
- 75–95 mm
- 75–111 mm
- 95–135 mm
- 95–175 mm
For larger wheels, we also offer a dedicated van cone set (122–174 mm), including a spacer flange, allowing compatibility with wheel hubs up to 217 mm.
Important compatibility note
Always verify the shaft diameter of the wheel balancer when selecting a cone.
Each product page includes a “shaft end” parameter, which indicates whether the cone is suitable for a 36 mm, 38 mm, or 40 mm shaft.
Why are balancing cones so important?
Without centering cones, precise wheel balancing is not possible.
They enable proper mounting of the rim on the shaft and ensure consistent pressure between the wheel and machine. This creates optimal conditions for accurate balancing on any type of wheel.
Offering your customers high-quality cones tailored to their machines will help them improve service accuracy, reduce balancing errors, and increase customer satisfaction.
