How to use the gauge?

Wondering how to measure tread depth using this gauge? Measure the grooves in the central part of the tread.Measure at least three points in the same groove. Be sure whether the tread is wearing evenly in all areas. Push the probe firmly and read the result.Don’t forget about checking the depth of other grooves too - if the wear is unequal, the vehicle might be having problems with wheel alignment.
