The pressure roller makes it easy to operate the mounting head and apply the top of the tire to the mounting head. The bottom flap plate makes it easy to apply the lower foot of the tire to the mounting bucket and further reduces the tension. The last on the articulated arm, the so-called ""third hand,"" blocks the tire's foot under the rim of the rim during assembly, rotating with the wheel. An additional advantage is the ability to adjust the height of the last depending on the stiffness of the tire.
