Every metal foot on a tire changer can be quickly adapted for use with aluminum rims prone to scratches. Plastic covers protect the contact points between the tire changer head and the rim. Replacing or covering a metal roller with a plastic insert ensures that no marks remain on the rim edge during tire mounting or removal.
