This plastic overlay for tyre levers protects the aluminum wheels from scratching during the tyre removal process.

The overlay differs from standard products of this type by use. Just put it in any place on the mounting spoon, place the rim of the rim between the two jaws on the underside of the overlay and you can freely operate the spoon down and up while keeping the rim pressed together.
