Resistant to damage
The manometer comes with rubber cushion. This means it is perfectly resistant to damage - for instance, when it falls off a large height.

Liquid inside
The manometer is filled with liquid. It protects the mechanical parts - so you don’t have to be afraid about damage and improper readings.

Reading precision
The liquid inside the manometer provides perfectly precise readings. It lowers the risk of improper readings which may appear do to possible vibration or hits - these are just a natural part of working with the bead blaster. Just to make an example - without the liquid inside, the gauge would be jumping around all the time due to the vibration. And the possible deviation could reach up to 180 degrees.
